Time for some more cake !
I walked past this fine window on Sunday and marvelled at these 2 types of French cakes and their prices (€45). But these are works of art and created by master craftsmen who know what they are doing.
The name is well respected here in Paris. The name of the chocolate maker/patisserie maker is Dalloyaut.

The cake on the left is a religieuse so called because it resembles a nun shape. It is one large cream filled profiterole on top of an even larger one. And then glazed in fondant or chocolate.

Look at the metallic glaze on the cake on the right – wow. It’s a Faubourg, named after the fabulous street wherethis type of cake was first created, Faubourg St. HonorĂ© – actually the home to these photos.
